When a large foodbank serving a 16-county region received a $3M, three-month grant as part of the Federal CARES Act, it sprang into action to expand its food delivery services. FarWell deployed a team of advisors to help manage the people and processes involved to maximize the grant funding and further the organization’s mission.
Call for Help:
- Demand for food services soared due to economic impacts of the pandemic and increased food insecurity.

The FarWell team has helped mange over $21 million dollars in CARES Act funding.
- FarWell was extended after the initial assessment and roadmap work and continues to provide value and operational efficiencies. The team is contracted until July 2022.
- The newly developed tools and processes continue to support progress. Every dollar is leveraged to its maximum potential.
- The forecasting and tracking systems developed by the team has made managing procurement needs highly scalable.
